How to make a big kerfuffle of love for four (2 actors and 2 singers)

Ingredients

A pond in the far off countryside

Two promised lovers, just for the sake of it

An exile, who come from who knows where, looking for a lost childhood and illusory innocence

A cameleon traveller, who is a little ‘comme ci, comme ça’, ( the way it suits him in fact)

Astonishing music with strange sounds

Words – in the right and the wrong order

Everything and anything

Sort of anywhere, take care to choose a bit of everything and just anything, in short what you need to make a Love Box.

Do whatever it takes  to find a pond and delicately put the buried wishs and strange pulsions at the bottom. Put two or three frogs as well, they will come in useful afterwards. One bed will do as it will be the lovers’ home, the place for dreams too, the place for fantasy and pleasure.

Delicately slip the promised  lovers between the sheets, a tenor and an actress say.

Sprinkle the angry spice of an exile’s nasty mug over the sizzling couple and when the whole thing is simmering, pour water on the vocal mistakes of a hysterical seductive viola, who has come from everywhere and anywhere

 

The whole thing will stir itself to the rhythm of the music and the farce and bring up what lies dormant at the bottom of the pond.

Your Love Box is now beginning to take the shape of a real mess of love. It is now a comedy and its unpredictable cooling process must be watched carefully : there will be surprises, bombshells and unrealistic rebounds.

At the last moment, add two frogs living at the bottom of the pond, two very old frogs who have seen it all and weren’t born yesterday. Put the frogs with the rest of the audience, watch them carefully, invent as you go along and add salt and pepper to your taste.

Your Love Box is making more and more of a mess, the link between the characters are more and more twisted, they become tense, stiffen and relax at full speed in all directions.

Pour faire un bon boxons d’amour pour 4 personnes (deux acteurs et deux chanteurs) :

 

Ingrédients :

 

- un étang dans une campagne reculée

- deux amants, promis l’un à l’autre, parce qu’il en faut bien

- un exilé, parti d’on ne sait où, à la recherche d’une enfance perdue et d’une innocence illusoire

- un voyageur caméléon, un peu comme ci et comme ça (et comme ça l’arrange aussi)

- de la musique étonnante, des sons étranges

- des mots. Dans l’ordre et dans le désordre

- de tout et de n’importe quoi

 

Plus ou moins n’importe où, choisissez avec soin, un peu de tout et du n’importe quoi,  bref, de quoi confectionner une Love Box.

 

Débrouillez vous pour trouver un étang, et placez délicatement au fond de l’étang les désirs enfouis et des pulsions étranges. Et deux trois grenouilles aussi qui serviront plus tard.

Un lit fera l’affaire, parce que c’est le lieu du couple, le lieu où l’on rêve aussi, le lieu des fantasmes et du plaisir.

 

Sous les draps, glissez délicatement les amants promis, disons un ténor et une comédienne.

Parsemez ce couple en ébullition du piment rageur d’une bonne gueule d’exilé et lorsque le tout est frémissant, arrosez des écarts vocaux d’une alto hystérique, séductrice, arrivée d’ici et de là et d’un peu partout.

 

Le tout s’agitera de soi-même au rythme de la musique et du vaudeville et fera remonter à la surface et surgir ce qui dort au fond de l’étang.

 

Votre Love Box commence alors à prendre la couleur d’un boxon d’amour. C’est à présent une comédie, dont il faudra surveiller la cuisson imprévisible : surprises, coups de théâtre et rebondissements plutôt invraisemblables.

 

Ajoutez au dernier moment deux grenouilles qui vivent au fond de l’étang.

Deux vieilles grenouilles qui ont tout vu passer et à qui on ne la fait pas.  Mettez ces grenouilles avec d’autres spectateurs et observez, inventez au fur et à mesure et assaisonnez à votre goût.

 

Votre Love Box agite son boxon de plus en plus, les liens qui unissent les personnages se tordent, de tendent, se relâchent dans tous les sens et à toute les vitesses.

 

Disposez enfin les mots dont la signification dépasse le sens.

Vous perdez le contrôle. La vraisemblance. Le réalisme. Ca n’a pas de sens. C’est rigolo. C’est le boxon.
